The autumn term has drawn to a close the celebrations of Guiding’s 1OOth year. We have done many great adventures, activities and badges. From taking part in the launch video to taking over the Alhambra in Bradford to watch a pantomime; we have been there and joined others to celebrate.

To launch Girlguiding UK in to our second centenary the Brownies joined with 1800 Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers, Leaders and other members at Newby Hall on Wednesday 20th October 2010. Together we had picnic teas, made pompoms, played field games, watched jugglers, sang songs and then together renewed our promise at 1o past 8 at night. There were many counties across the country holding similar events meaning 500,000 people joined to take part in - VISION 20:10 20/10 2010
