Following the Church Parade you will know how well each section is getting along with their “Adventure 100” challenge, as we celebrate 100 years of Girl Guides.  We have learnt dances, made ice lollies & refrigerator cake, created and performed adverts for Guiding.

There was one item that we asked for your help with.  That was our “Signature 100”.  We were to collect 100 or more Guiding signatures.  Every current Rainbow, Brownie, Guide, Young Leader and Adult Leader signed a scroll of paper but this only got us to 90!   So we asked everyone at Church Parade who had ever been part of the Guiding Movement to sign the scroll too, adding the date they joined.                       We now have 135 signatures!

We now have a very interesting scroll showing lots of different names & dates.  The girls will have great fun reading the scroll and looking back at their history.
