November
On 19th November the Coffee Shop supported St. Michael’s Hospice. Their volunteers brought along a selection of Christmas Cards and calendars, and spoke about the work being done at the Hospice. There was a good turn out that morning and with the takings and donations we are pleased to have raised £358 for them.

December
The Church Charity chosen at the Church Meeting is to be Harrogate Citizens’ Advice Bureau. There will be a Coffee Morning on Saturday17th December to raise money for their ongoing appeal.

January
In January the Charity Coffee Shop on the 21st will be to raise funds for the Gambia School Trust Charity. The local contact is Pauline Link who regularly visits and works there, obtaining medical supplies and equipment to assist hospitals in Gambia.As the name implies funding is provided also for school projects and buildings.

The last Coffee Shop in 2011 will be on Friday 23rd December.

The first Coffee Shop in 2012 will be on Friday 6th January.
