Fellowship

The Fellowship Committee, which seeks to build up and encourage the church family at St Paul’s, is an invited group of twelve people who organise social events suitable for all members of our congregation to attend.

We organise two to three events each year, such as a quiz, a ceilidh or similar social event to appeal to a wide cross section of the congregation.  Alongside these events, we organise cakes following the Harvest Service, a Harvest supper, mulled wine and mince pies at Christmas and fund a series of family breakfast services during the summer.

The Committee is led by Jo Cunningham who is always eager to listen to feedback from the congregation and welcomes ideas for any events they would like us to host.

Summer Breakfasts

Young Katie Turnbull from our Junior Church raised a magnificent £165 from her cake stall to give to Great Ormond Street Hospital as a thank-offering for her friend's recovery. Last Sunday was our Promotion Sunday when four children were presented with Soul Survivor Bibles as they left Junior Church to join our worshipping community full-time. Summer Breakfasts will be held on 29 July and 6 August at 9.00 and everyone will be welcome. Breakfast will follow a short act of worship. The main service continues at 10.30.
