The second part of the Ringway footpath from Knox Mill Lane to Knaresborough was walked on a beautiful late summer morning and enjoyed by all.
The final section is our target on Saturday October 17th and we will meet at Knaresborough High Bridge at 10.30am. The route will take us along Waterside and across fields heading first for Forest Moor Road and then Rudding Lane off Wetherby Road.
Here we can decide whether to stop at The Travellers Rest for lunch or continue straight on, under the viaduct spanning Crimple valley and eventually crossing the A61 before arriving back in Pannal village from where we originally set off in March.
It is a fairly easy 7-8 mile walk and if the majority wish to stop, The Travellers Rest is just over half way along the route.
Feedback on whether people wish to stop or not would be welcome.
