In June we held our summer party, to which new members were invited. The party started off at Harrogate Indoor Bowling club. 15 youngsters came along, most thinking what on earth have Graham and Jean organised, ‘isn’t this what old people do?’
Five minutes into play they were totally hooked and many expressed a wish to return. We are most grateful to the club for making it such an enjoyable event and for their warm welcome.

After bowling we made our way down to Oliver’s fish and chip restaurant. Everyone had worked up an appetite and thoroughly enjoyed their meal judging by the clean plates! Again we are grateful to Olivers for staying open late especially for us.

Finally we would like to thank the Youth Group members for the lovely Hydrangea plant they gave us. It was really kind of them and will really brighten up our garden and be a constant
reminder of the enjoyable times we have had running Youth Group.

Graham and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us during our time running Youth Group; parents, the Church and of course the young people who have come along. We have really enjoyed every minute and would like to wish who ever takes over from us all the very best.
