Cubs

Cubs meet in the Church Hall on Wednesday evenings from 5.45 to 7.15pm for boys and girls aged 8 to 10½. These fit in with school term times with breaks aligned with school holidays.

The evening events are selected from a programme of activities that are linked to the award of the appropriate badges.

We cover a wide range of indoor/outdoor activities (hiking, outdoor cooking, pioneering and games nights) as well.

Our aim is also to undertake between 2 and 3 great camps every year. The most recent trip was in April 2017 when we went to Bonaly in Edinburgh.

Harvest Thanksgiving

Next Sunday, 23 September, we celebrate Harvest Thanksgiving when we thank God for his gifts of creation and acknowledge him as the gracious Giver. This is a lovely time of the year. At St Paul's we make our thanks meaningful by supporting the URC's world development project known as Commitment For Life. Our congregation is partnered with the work in Central America and we hope to raise awareness and a lot of money to support the development in Central America and beyond. Worship will be followed by our Harvest Lunch to which everyone is invited.
